Product type water swelling water stop is also called PZ product type water swelling water stop. It is a new type of waterproof material which has the properties of general rubber products and self expansion when meeting water. The water stop and waterproof effect is more reliable than the general rubber water stop.
Features of the product type water swelling waterstop:
A. When the rubber meets water, it will produce 2-5 times less expansion deformation, and fill all the irregular surfaces, holes and gaps of the joint, and generate huge contact pressure to prevent leakage completely;
B. When the rigid joint or construction joint is displaced, resulting in the gap exceeding the elastic range of the material, the ordinary rubber water stop material will lose its water stop function, and the product can also stop water by absorbing water and expanding.
C. Using water swellable rubber as plugging and sealing material can not only save energy, but also eliminate the characteristics of elastic fatigue caused by excessive compression of general elastic materials, so that the waterproof effect is more reliable, and the water resistance, chemical resistance and aging resistance are good.
D. It is mainly used for waterproofing of existing joints with shield construction method, deformation joints of buildings, Waterstops and metal components for construction joints and prefabricated concrete members.
